Gaby + John // Engaged Victoria, BC

He proposed with his mother's diamond that was cut originally by his great uncle a jeweller in Manhattan. John worked with a jeweller in Bend, OR to have the ring customized especially for Gaby. These two are as unique as the special diamond Gaby now wears. First meeting through a mutual friend at University. Their adventures together since that first meeting are plentiful and often centred around wildlife. Gaby shared that their first big trip together was living on a biological reserve in Ecuador's cloud forest, then to Portugal to visit the migratory birds in Faro by boat, and most recently Newfoundland to visit the largest colony of Puffin's in North America.  Amazing right? Regular dates include early morning trips to the Zoo to which they have their "must sees" including Toucans, Elk and Giraffes top the list. They have a life that is full, adventurous, rich in history, and playful.
