Kyla + Mike // engaged! Maple Bay, Vancouver Island, BC

 

They met at the Pemberton Music festival. She just finished grad school. He is a hardworking carpenter. They are renovating their first home together. The first time we met last summer at Drumroaster's Coffee we chatted for hours. I knew these two were something special.

Meet Kyla + Mike in beautiful Maple Bay.

Kyla + Mike chose this amazing view point for their session as it was the exact spot that Mike sent Kyla on the BEST Easter Egg hunt ever.  Last Spring he took her up here on a hike and asked her to be his forever, with her gorgeous ring tucked inside a sweet Easter egg. You could practically hear her family cheering from their front porch just down the mountain from where she said YES!

A beautiful backyard wedding is in the works for this summer. No doubt will be sweet, thoughtful and with hand made personal touches. That's just the kind of people Kyla + Mike are!
