Leclair Family
This amazing family was the winning bid behind my fundraiser this spring where I auctioned off one Lifestyle Session to raise money for The School Sessions. The School Sessions is a global movement of 500+ photographers raising $200,000 to build a school in Mellier, Haiti. The previous building was destroyed by the 2010 earthquake and these children (ages 3 to 16) are in need of a earthquake and hurricane-proof school to learn. This crew was a hoot! Kristen admitted that they had never had family photos taken, and that the last time they were infront of a camera was at there wedding day...ermmmm 10 years ago!! We had a great time chasing the sunset, strumming the guitar, laughing away and toot-tooting on quack grass!
I am so thankful for the Leclair's generous donation, for the hard working volunteers in Haiti, for beautiful families, education and for the safe country we live in!
Thanks to contributions like this one, The School Sessions organization was recently able to purchase the land for the build this summer and plans are underway for a school to be built. Please check out The School Sessions website or watch the video below to learn more! Then scroll on down and enjoy more of the Leclair's!
