Ashley + Joel // Family // Mystic Beach, BC

Ashley and Joel were just weeks away from celebrating their 10 year wedding anniversary when we met for this session! Married on July 7 2007 (07/07/07), three children and a move across the country they were ready to celebrate with fresh west coast family photos. Getting every one dressed to the nines, Ashley had a vision of making some beautiful sunset beach portraits with her family.  This crew did the 40 min hike in packing their outfits, bouquets, snacks and a 9, 7 , and 3 year old. I could hardly believe it. What determination! Luckily, Grandma and Grandpa were at hand for support and entertainment. We finished shooting just as the sun disappeared and hiked out in the dark with head lamps, being serenaded by Reena belting "Rudoloph the Red Nose Reindeer" allllll the way back to the car! ; ) Great energy and good spirits by all!
