Adam + Katie // engaged!
Spent a lovely evening with Katie + Adam when they were on the island for a little get-away!! We met up at Genoa Bay and snapped some coastal pics - a homage to BOTH their roots - she's from Van Island and Adam is from the East Coast! The wind was wild and while we embraced it in the end we decided to head into the woods to snap some cozy photos. These two met when they tried to attend a world record speed dating event on Valentines Day 2014 in Calgary! I say tried because they never actually got to participate in the event! Too funny. Instead they struck up a conversation while they were waiting and ended up exchanging numbers! A week later they went on their first date. Next summer they will be getting married in Shawnigan Lake and I can't wait :)
